ICD is committed to providing free primary education to every child in its project areas, which do not have any other schools. As on today, ICD runs 47 village-based primary schools, which offer free primary education (up to class 8) to 22000 children.

As an ICD school area gets a government-run school, the organization helps its students transition to the new school, which come with far better resources and facilities. This helps ICD move its meagre resources to another deprived area to be able benefit children there. As ICD schools are run using charity and other small contributions, there is always a lot of pressure on these to cut corners and this strategy helps us maximize the effect of our initiatives.

We humbly salute our dedicated volunteers, selfless teachers and generous donors who have helped us successfully run these schools for nearly two decades now.
